In Wolfgang 'Wolf' Schmitt's world, Schmitt happens and he makes no secret about it. This former model turned advertising executive (and narrator of this book) is no pushover and if there is something on his mind, he will say it. This wiseass charmer is given the opportunity of a lifetime after having a bad day at work. Once he accepts it his life is never going to be the same -- not that there was anything in it in the first place.

Billionaire Nelson Scott wants to pay him one million dollars if he manages to seduce Kelly, the rich man's wife. Nelson alleges that he has a very strict prenuptial agreement with his wife and if she breaks any of the provisions it would cause the document to be null and void. If Wolf succeeds in his operation he will get an additional four million dollars.

The catch? None . . . ACH! . . . HEM! . . . COUGH, COUGH . . . Excuse me. Isn't this a Larry Brooks novel?

In BAIT AND SWITCH, everything that you would expect from a Larry Brooks novel is there and more. He introduces a complicated plot with a lot of sexiness, dark humor, twists and turns up the wazoo, and some of the most unforgettable and devious characters that you will ever have the opportunity to meet.

The author has a way with his female characters that will make male readers squirm in their seat. Nelson Scott's lawyer is one of them and she knows how to create a presence. She knows the weaknesses of all men and knows how to exploit it. She is never wrong and you be better be careful if you ever decide to cross her. Lee van Wyck takes no prisoners. If this character whets your appetite, wait till you meet the other ladies. They will blow you away.

Nothing is what it seems inside this book. Everybody is ready for that 'gotcha!' moment where everything will finally be revealed. BAIT AND SWITCH is a hell of a ride that you will not want to leave anytime soon. Every twist within a twist within a twist is slowly revealed near the book's end that will either have you cheering or picking up your jaw from the floor. If you are looking for a great escape this is it. Take a break from reading dry books and live a little. It is time to have some fun and this is the kind of book you will want to have. It is good.
