Orlando Sackett spent 16 years in a brutal Mexican prison. He survived by using his skills as a boxer. He made three vows: to exact revenge on the hired killer who framed him; to return to his father; and to find Gin Locklear.

He had gone to Mexico with a party to find the location of buried gold. In Mexico his party had to run from the Mexicans and left him to stand rear guard. He was captured and placed in the Mexican prison.

Released from prison he finds his father is missing and Gin Locklear, the woman he loves, is married. The killer, who framed him, is out to kill him. He must use the skills honed in prison to trace the killer and resolve his past. The way is paved with danger and may well cost him his life.

In the true tradition of Louis L'Amour this is a great story of revenge, survival, life in a Mexican prison, and boxing. It is a pleasure to sit back and listen to the narrator (Josh Hamilton) spin a tale of the West of days gone by.
