It has been a year since the mysterious death of Rosemary Barton. One night while having dinner with a group of friends she dies after ingesting cyanide. The incident was never resolved and everyone at the dinner party went on with their lives. Was it a suicide after a deep depression or was it murder?

No one is sure, but events have led the same group to reunite at the scene one year later. What will happen? Who knows? But with Agatha Christie at the helm, you can be sure to expect a few surprises.

Hugh Fraser is the reader of this unabridged recording of SPARKLING CYANIDE. He has the daunting task of becoming six different characters with separate third-person narration shifted to that character's point of view in each chapter. Everyone had a reason to kill Rosemary and the red herrings are plentiful throughout the story. It is a good companion for that long drive. With Agatha Christie, you cannot go wrong. Same goes for Hugh Fraser.
