Dr Emily Ryan is having a rough time at her new job. She is working at the Pearce Psychiatric Institute doing research on Lewy body dementia, an illness similar to Alzheimer's disease. Someone has been anonymously stalking and harassing the naive doctor.

She befriends Dr Peter Zak who tries to help her, yet he feel that he is way over his head plus he is also concerned. He is not sure what to think of Dr Ryan -- she has a chequered past and she just happens to be anywhere that mayhem occurs including murder. Should he help her or just get out of her way?

Hallie Ephron and Dr. Don Davidoff are the team who comprise GH Ephon. OBSESSED is an entertaining story filled with interesting characters and an entertaining storyline. The medical aspects are carefully researched, the plot is fast-paced and well constructed, and the characters are appealing to the reader.

Being this my first novel with the series characters, Dr Zak and his girlfriend, private investigator Annie Squires, one does not really get to know them or their history, but that is okay. The little we get from them is great and serves as an aperitif for their other novels in the series. Just have to get started.
