When serial killer Steven Gage, a psychopath who had killed more than 100 women was executed he promised the three women most closely connected to his case revenge. Five years since Gage's execution each woman receives a note at her door stating "Happy Anniversary. I haven't forgotten." The three women have moved on. Diane Massey who wrote a best selling true crime book about Gage is living on a remote island in Maine. She has had eight best sellers since her true crime book. Melanie White, one of his lawyers, has finally distanced herself from the onus of defending him. Callie Thayer, his ex-girlfriend, is living under an assumed name with her 10 year old daughter, Anna. It is a question of who has taken up where Gage left off. Who is behind the terror and madness that is Gage's legacy? This is an exciting thriller with an abundance of red herrings. It is a story of a twisted personality who wreaks havoc in the lives of three women. The characters are well drawn with their attempts to rebuild their lives and with their fears. The plot is full of twists and tuns and is action packed. The writing is smooth and moves the story at a rapid pace.
