A serial killer is snuffing New Orleans prostitutes and calling a radio station to promote his kills. Dr. Samantha Leeds is the host of Midnight Confessions, a call-in show dealing with topics of sex, love and intimacy. The murderer blames Dr. Sam for something that happened in the past and wants revenge. She does not know whom to trust and is starting to be paranoid. Will the reader be able to figure things out before it is too late? Count on it.

The main problem with this novel is that it takes an old concept and just recycles it without adding something new to the mix. The story line of a disc jockey targeted by a crazed fan has been used to overkill. Novels, drama shows, Lifetime movies, and soap operas have used this device to death. Dr. Samantha Leeds is supposed to be a smart woman, so why does she do so many stupid things. It is a miracle that she makes it through the end of the novel. A mysterious stranger insinuates himself into the life of the Doctor and sparks begin to fly. Could this sexy man be an angel or just a devil in disguise? Also, who is that dead woman who keeps calling the show?

If this is your type of novel, go for it. There are original stories out there ready for the taking. If you want predictable novels, this is the one you are looking for. Guaranteed.
