Ex military policeman, Jack Reacher, is back for his seventh adventure in this wonderfully, well written, series.

One evening in Boston, ex military cop, Jack Reacher, spots a former army intelligence officer, Francis Xavier Quinn, a murderous traitor who had tried to sell blueprints of a secret weapon to Iraq ten years earlier. The strange thing about this is that Reacher thought that he had killed Quinn at that time and now here he is, walking around Boston, ten years older, healthy, and successful.

Jack Reacher is determined to find Quinn again and this time he vows he will kill him for good. Red flags go up when Reacher tries to use some old contacts to find out about his still alive nemesis. The FBI is investigating a Zachary Beck for selling drugs and Quinn is Beckıs boss.

The Bureau had planted a woman in the Beck household and hadnıt heard from her in some time. Because of his interest, the FBI team asks the outsider Reacher to help them find their agent. This action does not have the backing of the Bureau; they will be working on their own.

PERSUADER is filled with so many thrilling plot twists and turns that itıs hard to say much about the story line without giving away all the surprises. The first shock comes with the last line of the exciting first chapter. After reading the initial 20 pages you know youıre in for yet another splendid Jack Reacher heart pounding thriller.

Author of this exciting and fast paced novel, Lee Child is one of the best at what he does and it amazes me why his books donıt seem to get all of the appreciative attention they deserve. Each of his books far surpasses the previous one. PERSUADER did not disappoint me. It is Childıs best book to date!

One thing about the Jack Reacher series to remember is that the books are not for the squeamish, especially PERSUADER. Itıs very violent and, with a few well chosen words, delves into areas of physical and mental cruelty that will make even the hard as nails reader quiver.

In PERSUADER, Lee Child proves that his writing skills are first rate. His descriptions of the Beck compound and the ocean surrounding it makes you feel as if you are there. His characters are an amazing combination of brains and brawn, good guys as well as bad. They become living and very real people to the readers.

Childıs bad guys are truly bad. The criminals who dwell inside this book are people you would not want to meet in a dark alley or a brightly lit room.

Okay, I have to admit that Jack Reacher is kind of like a superman. As overpowering as his opponents seem, with his combination of experience and physical ability, he can defeat anyone and anything. But hey, we all need a good superman hero in our lives and the fans of Jack Reacher canıt help but cheer as he toils to defeat his foes.

If youıre a Jack Reacher fan do not miss PERSUADER. Run to the store and grab a copy of it as soon as you can. If youıve never read any of Lee Childıs series, start with the first Jack Reacher book and read them in order. I promise, you wonıt be able to put them down. As you read the series, you will get to see how Jack Reacher has grown and how Lee Child has developed as a writer.

I cannot say enough good things about this series or Lee Child. Buy this book if you enjoy great, action packed books for thinking people.
