Fanny Rosen's psychic, who lives in the Ansonia, New York's famous "wedding cake" apartment building, tells her she will be a star. Shortly thereafter, she wins the role of the body double to a young girl who is to be the lead in Victor Madison's next demonic possession potboiler. Fanny wins the role, and blithely leaves Manhattan for Texas where FOREVER ASMODEUS is to be filmed. Fanny's actor boyfriend, Andre, who has a role in a Galveston Dinner Theatre production, flies down with her to a condo they will share. He expects Francine Rose (her stage name) to continue to make him meals and iron his clothes. (After all, she is a well brought up Jewish girl from Bayside)

The story gets more bizarre after that. Strait laced Rosen becomes a demonically possessed sex maniac, who throws up if the wrong man kisses her. Andre has an affair with a pair of twins. Unexplained deaths occur on the set. Frannie's old friend, Samson, is writing an unauthorized biography of Madison, ne Chaim Mostel, and enlists her aid in digging up dirt. (Madison likes to watch Disney videos while having sex)

Who murdered the various victims and why, and how much of what Frannie is experiencing is real are questions that may or may not be answered by the end of the book. If you want to read a funny, silly, almost-but-not-quite soft porn horror-mystery, then this book is for you.
