Viets: I kill people for a living.

Viets: Meat Loaf's Bat Out of Hell.
RTE: What did you want to be when you were growing up?
Viets: An artist.
RTE: Who's your oldest friend?
Viets: I prefer long-term. They include Sue Brandt Schlueter, my best friend from high school, who was in my wedding 36 years ago. Margery Flax, Karen Grace, Jinny Gender, Janet Smith, Maria Evans, Anne Watts and Kay Gordy -- and many more. I am lucky to have vintage friends.

Viets: It would be just as messed up as it is now.

Viets: Michael Connelly's Concrete Blonde.
RTE: What makes you angry?
Viets: Stupid people.
